NT Backup of System/Boot Partition and restore to another HD in same machine

I have two hard drives installed in my computer which are identical. The OS
was just installed on the computer so there is nothing but Windows 2000
which has been completely updated. The second hard drive is blank and
available for use.

I have backed up my new OS parturition to a file using NT Backup. I then
want to restore the backup to the second drive. I have selected the backup
and then selected the second drive as the destination for the restore.

The objective is to be able to boot from the second drive if I were to rip
out the first. Is this possible and am I doing this right?

Thanks.

NTBackup backs up files, not a system disk so you would'nt be able to boot
from the second disk.
You would need a third party tool, eg Ghost / TrueImage, or if your system
hardware has the capabilities a 'raid mirror' setup.
