Now Quickbooks Won't Start

A client mistakenly installed this on a Windows 98SE
system and now the system asks for a missing java.dll
when she tries to start Quickbooks. Do we need to
reinstall the OS? Reinstalling Quickbooks didn't help.

The product we are supporting here doesn't run or install on Windows 98SE,
nor does another recently released product with which Microsoft Antispyware
is sometimes confused.

Are you certain of the sequence of events?

Here's a download which I think should solve the problem, however:

http://www.softwarepatch.com/windows/javavm.html

I don't vouch for this site at all, but I believe this particular download
is safe and an appropriate fix for the issue you are seeing.
