November Updates and 100% CPU Usage

Since the beginning of November, my system has gone into infinite 100% CPU
usage loops. The Process that is causing this unusual CPU usage is "System"
(Not "System Idle Process").
This process is known for such behaviors when there are problems with
hardware/drivers, so I unplugged everything from my laptop and found it to be
the battery - all works fine while the battery is unplugged.
HOWEVER, when I used the recovery disk to reinstall windows, it worked just
fine till windows decided to update - a time at which the 100% CPU usage
returned.
I have done this 3 times now andeverytime it is the same: the entire system
works perfectly upon reinstall, but as soon as I allow it to update, the 100%
CPU bug reappears (because I now beleive it to be some kind of ACPI related
and windows update induced bug).

My question is if anyone else has been experiencing this kind of problem on
their machines and if they have found any workaround (apart from not allowing
windows to update) that solves it, since I am grasping at straws right now...

The Power Options app in Conttrol Panel will probably let you choose a power
scheme that will not do that. Unless the laptop maker writes a better power
option scheme, you will probably have to choose between the update, and the
scheme.

You might try using Process Explorer to help determine what exactly is
running under "system" and consuming the cycles.

I almost have the same problem... I updated the acpi driver with the wrong
driver and I can't revert it back... I can't get the first driver, and now my
"Texas Instruments OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394", "Texas Instruments PCIxx12
Integrated FlashMedia Controller", and my "SDA Standard Compliant SD Host
Controller" are not working: This device cannot find enough free resources
that it can use. (Code
12).
My CPU and GPU fans do not work when im on the battery. The CPU fan only
works when I restart my PC when it is heated and when it is on AC power with
the battery disconnected.
I can't find a ACPI driver fix and I tried updating the BIOS but it doesn't
affect anything
