Noting having Windows Sharepoint Services installed

Hi,

I had an older version of Frontpage which I just upgraded
to Frontpage 2003. I just tried to publish a page and it
said that I couldn't because the web server does not
appear to have Sharepoint Services installed.

I don't know what Sharepoint Services are and I probably
don't do need them at this point. We have a very simple,
straightforward informational site with no bells or
whistles.

I could ask my web server how to install Sharepoint
Services but since I probably don't need it, does anyone
know of a way to "turn off" Sharepoint Services in
Frontpage 2003 so I can publish the pages as I always
have, at least until I figure out what Sharepoint Services
is and why I might need it?

At the moment, my priority is just to publish this page.

You can't just publish a page (unless you have opened the Site in FP and set up the remote location)

Depends on whether your hosted site has the FP SE
- Use FTP (a server w/o the FP SE)
