I received the following message at start up on Windows XP...
NotifyAlert.exe - Common LAnguage Runtime Debugging Services
Process id = Oxf48 (3912)
Thread id = Oxf4c ( 3916)
Does anyone know what this means? I am fairly computer literate but I don't always understand the lingo..Thanks!

C:\Program Files\Dell\Support\Alert\bin\NotifyAlert.exe
is the Dell Support Alerts program, which notifies you of
everything from when it's time to breath to when the
world is about to end.

You can safely uninstall Dell Support. If you don't know
the first then you are beyond help. If the second occurs
then it won't matter anyway.

However, if you find it useful, you can uninstall it and
then reinstall it from the setup disk that came with your
Dell. Just make sure to configure it to notify you only
if you can do something about the end of the world.
Other than that, keep your antivirus software and
operating system up to date and disable the other notices.
