Okay heres the problem
I start up my computer, turn on my modem, hit the internet button, the hourglass pops up, and nothing happens. I try to run Norton Anti-Virus, the hour glass pops up, but nothing happens. (Repeated this process for many other programs)So I turn off my computer and then all the programs I tired to open pop up, and they all have an "End Program" window that opens up, even windows. So I start up again and I go to my task manager and find that there is something running called "Project1" so I end that task, and I try to open My Internet Explorer again and it opens, but after a second or two it says "Not Responding" and I have to end the program, same goes for Norton, "My Computer" , "Control Panel" and other various programs. I am able to get Netscape to work but that is about it. I ran SpyBot and got rid of some spyware/adware, but it did not seem to help at all. Do you guys think I have a virus of some sort? And what is that "Project1" thing? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank You
