Hi, i purchased a Latop last summer and bought the Vista Home Basic to
install myself. Recently i've started to get a lot of programs 'not
responding' it usually starts with Firefox/Limewire/Real Player and
sometimes spreads to Windows Explorer/My COmputer. the laptop has 80GB hard
drive and i recently purchased an external drive which has 250GB. I've ran
every malware/spyware/anti-virus program, defragged the laptop countless
times, run registry mechanic, and winzipped most of my photos/music but still
the problem persists. i have uninstalled and re-installed Firefox/Limewire &
Real Player but the problem persists, can anyone help???

What happens if you uninstall the three programs and leave them off?
