Not disconnecting after lost internet connection

We have a W2K server with TS running and it's working fine (almost). Users
connect to it through PPTP VPN.
If, for some reason (internet connection instability for example), the VPN
drops, the connection of this user, instead of showing up in TS Manager as
"disconnected", keeps showing as if it were a normal connection (as nothing
happened).
Then, when the user gets the VPN connection back on and connects to WTS
server, it creates a brand new session instead of getting back to where he
was (the "disconnected" session)...

We have another server in another office that is setup the same and the
behavior is as expected.
Would anyone have any information or tip about this?
