Not able to install

Since my Office Xp had become corrupt I tried to re-installed it. But every
time I try to install a message something like this comes up, "Windows connot
install. It may be running in safe mode or the installer has become corrupt"
and I cannot install the softwares.
What should I do to remedy it.?

Have you tried formating the disk? This sounds like a pretty strange
problem. If not, call up microsoft support and ask for a media
replacement. As long as you have a cd-key you should be fine.
