Not a highlight?

N

Nealman

A quick question,

I just received an email with a word attachment from a client and upon
opening the document, all the text was “highlighted” grey.

My first action was to remove the highlight from the task bar, however
that did not work. I checked the fonts thinking it was imbedded in the
font, but I could not find anything there. In print preview mode the
highlights are gone.

I called my client mentioning the issue and she said the document did
not have the “highlight” on her end.

Any help to what this is and how to disable it would be grateful.

Thanks for your help…

Neal

This probably indicates that the text is a field of some kind. On the View
tab of Tools | Options, set field shading to Never and see if this changes
the display.
