Just want everyone to know that if you have a dual hard drive computer - you
cannot install GoBack. It will tell you that when you try to install. This
should be known so that people don't waste their money on it.

I would go one step further with that advice and say to everyone not
to waste money on anything Symantec publishes.

Hello, Thank You for the information.

take care.
beamish.

I have installed Norton GoBack on a fellows computer (at his request) that
has 4 hard drives in it. There was no problem.

Why do you say it can't be done?

Friends don't let friends use Symantec/Norton anything.

Yes, I do install it for people who hire my services - after counseling them
against it.

Read instructions. Said otherwise for additional hard drives.

GoBack works fine with multiple hard drives. It is the one product
which Symantec provides which is really useful, maybe because Symantec
has not really tinkered with it since it acquired it, other than to
add the test mode. It will really save your ass if you do a software
install that screws up your machine.

I just used it an hour ago to restore my boot drive after a system dll
got corrupted. YES, I know that system restore will also solve that
problem. But with GoBack I was able to restore some critical data
files, something that System Restore will not do. -- Howard
