Norton security blocking updates

I am having a problem getting updates for Hewlett Packard
for my computer. I am notified that there are updates
and say that I want to proceed however I am stopped and
told I must be connected to the Internet which I can
access. I believe the problem is that I have blocked my
computer from accessing the site with my Norton
software. Can anyone walk me through exactly how I go
about eliminating the site from the list of sites I have
chosen to block.
