Norton live update & AOL.problem

live update freezes trying to connect,settings correct in
norton setup. AOL is the server.Does anyone know of any
conflicts between the too.Could there be another
reason.Norton surgest it is an AOL problem. XP HOME is
the O/System.Thank you in advance for any surgestions on
how to fix this problem.

How to use LiveUpdate with AOL Software

AOL 6.0/7.0/8.0
Simply run LiveUpdate, using Internet as your connection. If you are unable to connect, follow these steps:
1.. Connect to AOL.
2.. Once connected, minimize the AOL window.
3.. Start Internet Explorer and connect to the Security Response site.
4.. Start Norton AntiVirus and run LiveUpdate
 
AOL conflicts with damn near everything on your computer. Get rid of it. If
you are smart enough to find your way here, you are smart enough to utilize
a REAL Internet Service Provider!
