Norton Internet Secutiry & XP Firewall

HI,
I have Win XP Home and have recently installed Norton
Internet Security 2004 and receive the following error
when trying to activate the Intrusion Alert monitor
inside NIS "Driver Initialization Failed 5004,115". When
I go to the Symantec site about the error "5004-115", it
tells me to REMOVE ALL non-Symantec firewalls. The only
other one that I have is the XP Firewall which I had
disabled.

Is this normal for this product to keep bugging me about
the removal of this firewall??? If so, HOW do I remove
the XP firewall safely.

P;ease help if you can.

Greetings --

You cannot "remove" WinXP's built-in firewall; the best you can do
is disable it. I'd suggest you contact Symantec for assistance with
their product.
