I am unable to send e-mails via microsoft outlook since i
upgraded to this product. Symantecs website knows about
this issue for users of windows XP and refers to a
knowledge based article data transfer to local host or
loopback address is slow (article 294769). This only
seems to cover windows 2000, i cant see a hotfix for this
under windows XP. I have downloaded all the updates for
win XP, but i still cant send e-mails, but i can recieve
them, the error i get is "TCP?IP connection was
unexpectedly terminated by the server error number
OX800cccOF. I would be very grateful if anyone could help.

Many thanks

I encountered a problem with NIS2004 and Outlook 2003. I
could receive, but not send. I disabled the Norton
AntiSpam plug-in and now I can send. I don't know if
this is your problem since I didn't get the error message
you get, but you might look at AntiSpam as a potential
cause.
