Norton Go-Back Question

I know some have expressed concern about GoBack. But installing new
software is one of the things I like about GoBack It has a Safe Try mode
you can put it in before you install new software or a new driver.
Afterward you can see how the installation or change went and have the
option to keep the changes or go back to before the change. I've used it
numerous times and cleanly backed out of changes I'd made.

Having been a computer technician for over 8 years and with a neice and
nephew as ITs for a large winery, I will give you mine and their advise. Do
not, I repeat, do not, use anything with the Symantec (Norton) name on it. I
use to use GoBack when it was owned by Roxio. It was a fantastic program,
better than the M$ version, Symantec turned it in to a computer killer. Like
a dummy, I purchased a copy. It would not let me boot into Windows and it
took me over 36 hours to uninstall it. All techs and ITs I know, advise
against using anything Symantec. I hope this gives you something to think
about.
