Hi,

I have a SATA HD with 3 partitions: 1:1 (32GB FAT32) / 1:2 (217GB NTFS) / 1:3 (1GB FAT 32). I have installed DOS 7.10 and Ghost 8.2 on the third partition (1:3) to create a Ghost image of the NTFS partition (1:2) which then is stored on the first partition (1:1). Everything works fine, except that the process is very slow. When i run Ghost from a bootable CD and do exact the same process, it is about 10 times faster. I suspected that this could be caused by some wrong configurations in autoexec.bat, config.sys or by the lack of the right drivers. That's why I have tested the system in different situations, with Ghost 7.5, Ghost 8.2 and freeDOS or DOS 7.10. But it didn't help. Has anybody met simular problems?
