with my computer i have several problems:
1. Each time I try to get on Internet Explorer , instead of going to me
homepage, it goes to awarninglist.com and theres a pop-up that says :
Warning! w32.myzor.fk@yf is a virus that infects files w/ .exe
extentions.......
Recomendations: Click OK to download officially approved software ...
2. when i downloaded it my Norton AntiVirus has a popup that says that the
file i just downloaded/am downlading is a virus... so i delete it
3. when i go on to internet explored again, it goes back to having
awarninglist.com w/ a popup saying that i have a different virus and need to
download a gifferent program, which (again) my norton antivirus says is
spywear/adware/ virus
4. THEN i get popups that are jusr from internet explorer that say:
NOTICE: if your computer has been running slower than normal, it may be
infected with adware spyware or a virus and it wasnt me to download
winantivirus pro 2007
and ofcoarse, after i download it my norton antivirus says that it is a
virus.... so i delete it
5. i am confused
6. no matter what i do i get a little 'balloon' or 'bubble' or whatever you
call it from the system performance moniter saying that my computer is
running like 49% slower and the internet is 38% slower and i have a virus so
i am supposed to download yet another different virus protecter, which ends
up being a virus in norton antivirus' eyes
7. even more confused

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

PS. after the first time of doing that 7-step process i did a full system
scan and deleted all viruses left from downloading those stupid so called
'virus - protectors'
but the system performance manager and the security center still say that
there are viruses adware and spyware
GRRRRRRR!!!

THANK - YA!

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this
isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, reputable and
independent (i.e., not BigBoxStoreUSA) computer repair shop.

You don't need to be told this, but you are in a big, nasty, ugly, mess that
is now multi-levels deep.

Starting with the hijacker that reset your home page to the "awarninglist"
site. (Which, no surprise, got pass Norton Virus.)

Why you downloaded the BS awarninglist pushed, I don't know, but just chalk
it up as a lesson learned. Don't ever download anything that is pushed.

God only knows everything that awarninglist installed. I wouldn't be
surprised if it even installed a bunch of drive-by installers as well.
(Check your net logs.) Which means you are even more levels in the crap.

Hate to tell you, but there isn't going to an easy, one-step, fix. You are
going to have to use multiple programs such as Adaware, Hijackthis, etc.
You are going to have to meticulously look through all your running
processes and threads (google "Process Explorer"), googling anything and
everything that is unfamiliar. You are going to have to meticulously look
through your entire hard drive. Some of the crap you find may be simple to
get off, others are more of a PITA. Keep your registry open while doing
everything also, because you'll need to be all over it.

Or you could just move your personal data onto a temporary medium and just
reinstall your OS.

Once you are clean again:

- Download and install Firefox as your web browser. Had you been using FF,
all of this would've been avoided in the first place.

- Don't ever install anything that is being pushed.

- Consider dumping Norton, even if it means cutting a loss. Norton is
bloated junk. Avast! Antivirus laps circles around Norton -- and it is
free.
