Norton Antivirus updates

I am unable to update Symantec Common Client Updates for
Norton Antivirus 2003 I am getting the following error, A
window opens "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" and
the error shown is Runtime error! Program:.. Applic~1
\Symantec\Liveup~1\Downlo~1\EXITM1.3_E/spa.exe abnormal
program termination.

All other updates install O.K.

follow the procedure 'To delete files from the downloads and temp folders'

No need to unistall it, ive just had the same problem a couple of days ago
and this sorted it.

and copy and paste the Document ID into the search box and click on search
Document ID: 2002072309360813
select "LU6004: LiveUpdate did not complete successfully"

OK let me try this again, what was supposed to be in my previous reply was

No need to uninstall it, ive just had the same problem a couple of days ago
and this sorted it.
