Norton Antivirus Liveupdate Problems

Hello,
I am running Windows XP home edition. I have tried to do the Norton
Antivirus 2004 (part of Norton SystemWorks 2004) liveupdate without success.
I keep doing what Symantec says to do on the latest "liveupdate", but, it
does not work. I keep getting the Error: "LU1821: this update failed
because it tried to overwrite a file that was in use..." I have had to go
to Symantec's "Intelligent Updater" which does do the virus definition
update manually.
I realize that this is not a Microsoft product, but, I am at my wits'
end with this problem.
Any ideas. Thanks very much.

Symantec has a new version of Live Update that might help
Download this & Install, Reboot and retry:
ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/liveupdate/lusetup-lt.exe

Have you contacted Symantec Support about this? You're paying for it.
