Norton Antivirus 2006

After I turn on my computer and log in, I get a window that says "Please wait
while windows configures Norton Antivirus 2006. Then, I get another window
that says "Norton Antivirus 2006 does not support the repair feature, please
uninstall & reinstall". Why am I getting these windows and do I really need
to uninstall & reinstall my anti virus?

Nah, the programmers just "made up" those messages because they were bored
one day.

Seriously...there has been some corruption of the files essential to
NAV2006. Yes, you must uninstall and re-install.
