Norton AntiVirus 2004 install error

I attempted to install Norton Personal Firewall 2004 and
Norton AntiVirus 2004 Professional and got the following
error message:

Error: "A valid digital signature was not found for this
component. <component name>" (1002,2) after installing
Norton AntiVirus 2004

same thing dood doesnt work and cant find the

boot.whatever file. just lettin u know ur not alone.
