Norton Anti-Virus 2003

I recently upgraded from ME to XP.Before I did so, I
turned off Norton's Anti Virus.The download was successful
except I now cannot enable Norton.I tried to re install
Norton 2003 and I get the response Error 1606 Could not
access network location "::\documents and settings\all
users\Desktop"..I get this response even if I go in to add
(or) remove programs and try to uninstall Norton 2003 in
order to perform a re-install.Can anyone advise me of a
fix?Thank you in advance for your help!..Joe Blasi

You might want to contact Norton. They can support their software much
better than Microsoft can.
