norton A V update problem

I've reinstalled Norton virus 2003 as there was a start up problem. All is
OK now except many of the updates will not install, any ideas please

You re-installed NAV 2003, but the previous one was installed already? NAV
only allows for 1 full year of auto-updates.

Could your NAV 2003 free auto-update subscription be up???
