I'm also having an numbering headache. I used all of the standard styles from the default template in Word 2007 to create an SOP. Somewhere along the line, one of us broke the outline numbering. Here's the result:
6. PROCEDURE
6.1. Step 1
6.1.1 Sub-Step 1.1
6.1.2 Sub-Step 1.2
6.1.3 Sub-Step 1.3
6.1.4 Sub-Step 1.4
6.2. Step 2
6.1.5 Sub-Step 2.1 (But it's 1.5! Grrr...)
6.1.6 Sub-Step 2.2 (etc.)
6.1.7 Sub-Step 2.3 (etc.)
The Heading 3 outline numbering doesn't re-start. I've tried all of the menus I can find, and I haven't been able to fix this.
Any ideas?
