NON FUNCTIONING KEYBOARD

My business computer keyboard suddenly quit working. I called Dell they said
it was windows...Microsoft says it's dell. I performed a keyboard test and it
does work outside of windows I cannot login to do a system restore please
help me....
 
sounds more like a hardware problem rather than an o.s.
your cmos is the first place to check...
can you get into cmos via an fkey or del key?
can you navigate in cmos with the kb?
do you have a settting in cmos for the kb?
