Nokia N70 (Symbian S60) contacts 'group' sync

I've got a Nokia N70 (Symbian S60) and one of the options is to create
groups of contacts so that it's easier to distinguish between say work
contacts and friends. All great stuff but I can't seem to be able to
find a way of syncing that information over to MS Outlook 2003. Is
there a special field that hold this data or is it simply not being
transferred?

I was kind of hoping that the phone 'groups' settings would sync up to
Outlook's 'categories' but that's not what is happening.

Unfortunately, this is going to be within the purview of the developers of
the synchronization software, not Outlook. All Outlook does is provide a
consistent interface with which these programs interact. Categories are the
way to group Contacts in Outlook, but that field contains a string of
values, so results with synch software will be mixed.
Pocket Outlook via ActivSync tracks Categories very well.
Hot Sync on Palms does less well. It can handle only a limited number of
Category values.
Anything else is anyone's guess.
