NO_MORE_IRP_STACK_LOCATIONS and VOBID InstantDrive CD SCSI CdRom Device

Matt

I'm trying to install a DVD +/- RW and it will not
recognize DVD+R blank discs. When I first installed the
hardware, Windows shut down and gave me an Error:
NO_MORE_IRP_STACK_LOCATIONS. Also, what is VOBID
InstantDrive CD SCSI CdRom Device? This is showing up as
an extra drive on my computer. Everytime I delete this,
my computer will return with the same error:
NO_MORE_IRP_STACK_LOCATIONS and restart itself. Any
ideas as to why this is so difficult? What is this
drive?

P.S. This is the second DVD burner that will not
recognize DVD+R discs. My thought is that it is a s/w
issue. Any help would be awesome.

I think Windows is trying to find a driver for DVD and gets it wrong
and installs a VOBID driver instead.
Right click the DVD drive in Device Manager and use the Update Driver
to find a more suitable device.
If not, just disable the VOBID device in Device Manager instead so it
won`t load.
