No USB or sound on my pc

I can not hear any sound from speakers, yes all the speaker connection are ok
and with power.
I als cannot connect any USB Devices and my system works fine i also can use
adobe softwares & msoffice with no problems. IE7 works wonderfully well.
What is the problem with my PC?
 
Check the default device using the sounds... applet in Control Panel

Allso check device manager on the hardware (tab) to see if there are any
yellow explanaton marks...
