No USB 2.0

When I plugged my new iPod and digital camera into my PC at Xmas,I got
the message that they could run faster using a USB 2.0 port.
I bought a USB 2.0 card, and loaded the driver and card and plugged my
iPod and camera in.
I got the same message-they would run faster using a USB 2.0 port.
Is it me or my PC??

Try going to the Device Manager click Start > right click My Computer >
click Properties in the dropdown menu.

In the box that comes up click the Hardware tab then the Device manager
button.

Click the plus sign next to Universal serial bus controllers (towards the
bottom of the list) for each item that is a USB device (root hubs, host
controllers etc..) uninstall the drivers.

Then reboot. You may have to reinstall some drivers from your hardware disk

If you know how to access your BIOS/CMOS you may have an option to enable
USB 2.0 in the BIOS.

Check you computer manufacturer's website for a possible update for your
BIOS.

Flashing BIOS can be fatal to your computer if directions are not followed
carefully. You don't want a power failure when flashing the BIOS.
