no speaker sounds

please help, computer was cleaned up, and now i have no sounds from speakers, i try to go to volume control but pop up says no active mixer devices installed please help help help i want my sound back
 
be specific...what do you mean your computer was cleaned up...sheesh, what are we? mind readers? Try a system restore
Or, go to Control panel>sounds and audio..> click on each of the tabs..investigate a little..run the troubleshooting guide on tha tabs that provide one.
