no sound

i'm no expert,but here is what i would try. try re-installling your sound drivers, 3 methods, first uninstall your sound software via the uninstall menu,and re-install using your sick that was supplied with your sound card. 2nd go, start menu, control panel, system,click on hardware tab,device manager box(in middle), click device manager,go to "sound video and game controllers" click + to expand, and then look for and remove any driver that is associated with your sound card. after that is complete reboot, and re-install drivers as required, most drivers you will be prompted for as thw system re-boots. if you are'nt at all familiarwith any of that type of thing, try the advice of a professional. 3rd try doing a system restore with the option in windows. start, all programs, accessories, system restore (to a date when your sound card last worked
