No sound (SoundBlaster)

Hi

I finally managed to install Dark Forces. (Thanks to Jimmy S. I refer to the
"Low virtual memory" thread.)

On my laptop, I have an external SoundBlaster mp3+ connected by USB. In the
game I get no sound at all.

This soundcard works with newer games, so it's not something wrong with the
soundcard. (And I bought it because the built-in ESS Maestro soundcard isn't
compatible with Dark Forces!)

Jimmy, you gave me some useful links in the other thread, but two of them is
broken. The first of them is the link that probably could help me now:
http://www.ece.mcgill.ca/~vromas/vdmsound for sound issues.

The other link that is broken is the last link in your post:

Hi Karl,

Glad I could help you get that game installed. :)

I checked the first link, and it's working at the time of this posting:
http://www.ece.mcgill.ca/~vromas/vdmsound

The second link has been replaced with this one now:

Thanks for the feedback!
