no sound on screen savers

i'v been getting on start up [32.exe]32dll not found.
also found that when downloading xmas screen savers
i don't get any sound but my friend does. why?
any help would be great.

What does a scan with a current antivirus program (meaning a version not
later than 2002 and using updated virus definitions) show?
