Screen Savers

We are using XP-Media Edition on our home machine and have set the
"Aquarium" as our screen saver.

My husband would like to use this screen saver on his XP-Pro machine at
work. Is there a way to just "copy" a file off our home system and "paste"
it into a particular place on his work system?

Is there a download from Microsoft's web site that he could use to get this
particular screen saver option?

I don't have XP-Media Center edition, but most screensavers have a .scr
extension. Do a search for *.scr on your computer, and you may find one
named aquarium.scr.

Some screen savers are as simply as .scr files. Search your windows
folder for *.scr
Some can then be copied. But others require more DLL files etc and will
not move that simple.
If you google 'aquarium screen saver' you'll get some hits. You can
even try these. Some say free. Not sure if they are ad free however.
I stay away from screen savers personally. No reason other than laptop
and it seems to spin the drive a lot. Might just be the wrong saver.

I have media center and search. Curiosity got me. No aquarium but
there is a wpgldfsh.scr and clicking on it seems to bring up an
aquarium. So try moving it. Worst that can happen is it will not run
or error saying it needs more files.

Thanks. We'll give it a try.

I found that same file here at home and wondered if we could just put it on
a thumb drive and he could take it to work. We'll give it a try.

Windows XP Home media does have a built in Goldfish aquarium screen
saver but if you pick up Windows Plus, you will get a realistic reef
aquarium with live corals that is far more interesting and
attractive.
I raise rare tropical fish for a living and I can't stand goldfish.
