A Windows 98 system on a Dell (550 MHz)
I have no sound when I run Interment explorer.
(Used to work, something changed)

Running "Volume Control" (A shortcut to C:\WINDOWS\SNDVOL32.EXE)
I see that all controls are "grayed out"

Any advice?
Thanks,
Uzi

A guess: Look for problem with the sound card in Device Manager.

Thanks,

Windows Media Player is working.
So, the sound card must be "sound"
Any other idea?

Tools/internet options/advanced tab/multimedia section/put a checkmark
in "Play sounds in web pages"

Thanks,

Play sounds in web pages is checked.
Re installing Netscape (and real radio) brought it back.
I'm all set, for now.
