I am running Win XP Pro SP2, my audio works fine in WMP 11 and in Winamp etc
but when I watch a video on Youtube or from any other site containing a web
hosted video no sound plays. Thank you to who helps me out.

In IE: Tools/Internet Options/Advanced

Is Play Sounds in Web Pages selected?

Play Sounds in Web Pages is selected, I forgot to mention I'm running IE 7.0
and Mozilla Firefox, neither works in terms of getting audio to play from
website hosted video.

Those sounds are usually .WAV sounds. Double-click the sound icon in
the task bar notification area. Make sure .WAV isn't muted.
