No Sound in WMP11 for Non-Admin User

Hi folks...

I notice a strange issue here. When I try to watch a particular website
video stream in my computer I cannot hear any sound if I'm logged with a
non-admin user account.

I have a Windows XP Pro English and IE7 and WMP 11 fully patched system. It
doesn't matter whether I'm using IE or Firefox, if I log in my admin account
I can watch the video and hear the sound without problems, but with my non
privileged user account I can just watch the video without sound.

I notice this with videos from this website:
http://noticias.uol.com.br/uolnews/
It's a Brazilian website. In order to provide examples, here are some direct
links for the videos for those who don't understand Portuguese:
http://noticias.uol.com.br/uolnews/monkey/2007/07/11/ult268u603.jhtm
http://noticias.uol.com.br/uolnews/monkey/2007/07/09/ult268u602.jhtm

When the video is playing, I can right-click it and see in the properties:
Audio Codec: Windows Media Audio 9 Voice 10 kbps, 11 kHz, mono

I don't know any other website that uses this codec so I couldn't test, but
since my computer can play it in the admin account I don't think it's a
missing codec.

When I contacted MS Support I was told to first try to install K-Lite Mega
Codec pack and try again, but I really don't want to install unnecessary
codecs in my system.

Any help would be appreciated. If more information about my system is
required just ask me.

Thanks in advance!

The windows media player newsgroup is
microsoft.public.multimedia.windows.mediaplayer; please consider
crossposting to that group. It might make you feel better to know that
Microsoft makes a list of programs that don't always work properly in
limited users accounts, which includes RealPlayer but does not list its own
Media Player.
