no sound from ripped music

I have ripped some music from 2 separate CDs using Windows Media Player. The
music plays OK from the CDs, and seems to have been copied OK on to my
computer, but no sound comes out when I play the music.

Any advice?

Yes.

1) Use AudioGrabber (freeware)

2) Double clik on the loudspeaker icon in the systray :

Make sure Wave is not muted, in fact un-mute everything except Microphone.
Push the sliders up to max.

Thanks. Regarding number 2, all was unmuted and sliders to max, any ideas as
to wht I cannot rip music using Windows Media Player?
