Did you look in Device Manager to see if there are any yellow marks next to
your sound, video and game controllers entry.
If yes, your audio drivers didnt install properly.
Look in Control Manager>Sound and Audio Devices Icon. See if any mute
boxes are checked and that all the sliders are
positioned at least half way.
