When you first reboot your computer, enter the BIOS and make sure that a
sound card is detected in
the BIOS and that the sound is enabled. Also, find out what manufacturer and
version sound card you
have and download the appropriate most recent driver for your sound card.

Things to consider are; Does XP PRO support any sounds?
Lost the sounds program in the move because they weren't saved?
You need to program a sound system.
is where you want it and ESPECIALY be sure the "mute "
bottm is not checked.

Ascertain make and model of sound card whether integrated or pci slot, then
search the manufacturer website for XP drivers..download Belarc or Aida32 if
you can't make out what sound card is in use..
