NO ROUTE

Hi,

I have win2k server connecting to 15 other clients (XP
Pro, 2000Pro, 98SE, ME).

SETUP:
All computers and the server are plugged into a switch and
inturn plugged into a broadband router which is connected
to the DSL modem. All computers have pre-assigned IP
addresses with the gateway being the broadband router.
Using Workgroup peer-to-peer networking.

PROBLEM:
- only 3 computers are able to see the server and share
resources and vice versa.
- All computers can go on the internet and ping each
other.
- Server can also ping other computers.
- All clients can see each other from network neighborhood
and can share resources but cannot see the server.

TS DONE SO FAR:
- reinstalled client for MS networks, TCP/IP, and NETBEUI
on server
- tried to use the router's DHCP service to assign IP
address >> same problem persists
- Updated SP on server to 4.0
- updated antivirus and did a complete scan >>OK
- power cycled the whole system
- changed cables
- re-created LAN connection
- reinstalled file and printer sharing

SETUP WAS WORKING OK UNTIL LAST WEEK WEDNESDAY

Another thing I did for the time being so that users can
access some files was to to run Sambar FTP on the Server
and they were able to connect to the server via HTTP and
download some files
