No Remote tab in System properties

I want to configure my PC to access it remotely from my laptop. (I can use
Remote Desktop to access my laptop from the PC.) The first step is to allow
remote users to access the PC by clicking the Remote tab in My PC Systems
properties, but... there is no Remote tab to click on even though Remote
Desktop is installed and working. When I try to reinstall it using
MSRDPCLI.EXE it tells me that a built-in version is already installed, where
it is... and the installation automatically comes to an end. My question:
What happened to the Remote tab? How can I get it to appear? It appears on my
laptop and both are running the same version of Windows XP Professional
Version 2002 SP2.

Answering my own post here, cos I got no answer:
Thanks to another earlier post I found that you can use TeamViewer from
http://www.teamviewer.com/index.aspx which has a free version for non
commercial use which is SOOOOO easy to set up and use one wonders why one
even tries with microsoft stuff.
Cheers,
