no .pst for Outlook 2000

I have an error trying to view my Inbox in Outlook 2000:
Unable to display foulder. Errors have been detected in
file c:\Documents and Settings\Reese1\Local
Settings\Application \Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.pst

I have no such directory structure \Local
Settings\Application \Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.pst (never
has been) therefore no .pst file. I have searched this
computer and there is no .pst file so that I can run the
Inbox Repair Tool.

Any suggestions? Help

Do a search for *.pst and include hidden/system folders in your search. I
bet the file is there.

You should run scanpst.exe against this file (Inbox Repair Tool - you can
search for that file name). Make a copy of the file first for backup.
