My computer is running XP Pro. The Shared Documents
folder, which is located at C:\Documents and Settings\All
Users\Documents is saying that it cannot be accessed.
The only other user on th computer is myself and I am set
up as an administrator.

In the Other Places menu in Explorer, the shortcut to the
folder simply says "Documents" instead of "Shared
Documents". I have tried to get into the properties of
the folder to make sure that it has the correct
permissions set or something. I can't even access the
properties.

Any suggestions?

Hi Nancy,

I have seen this occur on many occasions. But it differs for some users.
In most cases the 'shared' is lost when relocating the My Documents folder.
Either way, check your settings here:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
Explorer\Shell Folders

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
Explorer\User Shell Folders

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
Explorer\DocFolderPaths
