No Network with SP2

Just to add my two cents worth to all of the SP2 posts. I had a reliable
network with all WinXP systems prior to SP2. Now I have none, I cannot see
any of my Shares. I do have an Internet connection through my router on all
systems. They just can't see each other. Checked all configurations and
they are identical to pre-SP2.

Did you enable the new firewall? If so, disable it and try again.

It's been disabled and I use ZoneAlarm Pro instead.

I think I found the culprit:

Internet Connection Firewall (ICF) / Internet Connection Sharing (ICS)
service must be set to "Automatic" and be started. This wasn't true with
SP1.

Did you enable the new firewall? If so, disable it and try again.
