No Mouse&Keyboard in the Login Screen

seems that others messed around with my other PC, and now,
when I turn-on the computer, I only get the user-name in
the login screen, but cannot use the mouse & keyboard at
all. Any idea?!?
 
Have you checked to see that they are plugged in the back of your computer?
