no-install CD audio burn with no pre-gap

How's this for a specific app request...

For my work machine, I need a no-install (run for my USB drive) burning
program that will burn MP3s to audio CDs. But, I need one that will
let me set the pre-gap to 0 so there isn't a pause between tracks.

I sometimes burn off a one-hour podcast that I chop up into 6 minute
segments and burn as 10 tracks. It's annoying to have the gaps right
in the middle of sentences.

"She's got a lovely bottom ....... set of teeth"

Any ideas?

Don't chop it up - burn it as a single 60 minute track.

in most of burning sw you can avoid gaps between tracks!
check in options!

Burrrn will do this if you install it on your home machine 1st and then
copy the Burrrn directory to your work machine.

Don't chop it up - burn it as a single 60 minute track.

I don't always get to finish it before having to switch CDs. By
chopping it up I can skip to the section I was listening to instead of
having to fast-forward (which isn't that fast on my car's deck) through
35 minutes of one HUGE track.

Also, on rare occasions the podcast goes over the CD limit so having it
in pieces let's me make a Disk 1 and Disk 2.

Deepburner portable will not let me set the gap.

Burrn will not let me set the gap AND it's very picky about files. It
just won't add some. I don't get an error and the same files work with
other burning programs. Some of them have long names, some of them are
missing ID3 tags, some of them... I just can't tell what it may be
upset about. It certainly needs better error reporting.

The hunt continues.

AFAICT, Burrrn's default gap is 0. If you want a different gap you'll have
to create a cue sheet. Haven't had any problems with files myself, sorry
it didn't work out for you.
