Disappointing. Very fat. May as well use Nero, which is better and comes
free with most burners.

I couldn't disagree more. I've been using CDBurnerXP Pro for quite a
while and find it (including the latest version) much lighter than
crappy Roxio or Nero. I also use it for ripping music CDs and it works
very well (much better than bloated MusicMatch).

Very "fat".? It's a 10 MB download. How can you call that Fat? Speaking
of CDs, Nero fills and entire CD. Now that is fat! With that said, I
prefer Nero because it's fat. It has more features. But for the "money"
CD Burner XP can't be beat. :)

Great Product. If only I'd discovered it a month ago. Oh well....

It's not the most intuitive program. In particular where is the
option for data verification? - not in the menu system, not in
the preferences and not even in the help files. Eventually I
discovered the verify option in the disc write dialog. But I
still decided not to use the program as I like to have my data
caches set up - both ram and virtual ram - nero gives me better
options for this program.

This is a pretty good program. I downloaded it and burned a couple
of CDs with no problem. The only thing lacking, from my point of
view, is a CD copy function. It won't do 1 to 1 copies of CDs or DVDs.
