Audio Gaps when Copying Completed Movie to Camcorder

Hello,

Having given up in frustration using Pinnacle Studio to edit video, I
have been using Windows Movie Maker that came with XP. It pretty much
does everything I want.

However, I have noticed a rather annoying quirk. There is no facility
to burn the finished video to DVD. What I must do is copy it to miniDV
on the camcorder, then input that to my DVD recorder. However, there
appear "gaps" in the audio track - as many as 2 to 3 in a 3 minute
length. These gaps are about 1 second in length. If I copy using
S-Video and RCA for sound, the gaps are not as pronounced as with a
firewire connection, but they are still there.

The sound is fine when the movie to a wmv file. Anyone with
similar experiences or suggestions? Many thanks in advance.
